Ceramics: Late Years

In the 1990's Touster returned to pottery for the first time since the 1950's. This time he did not throw or fire the work himself. Rather, he patronized Color-Me-Mine, a paint your own pottery studio that was located in a storefront in Kingston, New York. Working alongside childrens’ birthday parties and weekend hobbyists, he glazed and decorated pre-thrown plates, which were then fired by the studio.
