Poem Illustrations: Mr. Tremper Haiku

The poet, Ronald Baatz worked as the weekend manager at the Millstream Motel in Woodstock when Touster owned the establishment. After the motel was sold, Ronald moved into the house on Irwin's Mt. Tremper property year-round, and lived there for more than twenty-five years, while Touster summered in the barn behind the house. Their book, Mt. Tremper Haiku, was published in 2000. All of the poems and drawings were created on the property that they shared.
